ROYAL CARIBBEAN TEAM TOUCH DOWN ON INIS MOR

Royal Caribbean demonstrated extraordinary commitment to its local customers and the Irish market as Ben Bouldin, Director of Sales for UK and Ireland, travelled from his office in London to the Aran Islands to meet some of Royal Caribbean’s most loyal customers.

Bouldin, who flew to Inis Mór on Thursday, was accompanied by Fiona Flaherty and Caroline OToole from Fahy Travel and met with customers at a special evening in Joe Watty’s bar in Kilronan, Inis Mor.  The event was organised to support the increasing interest and demand for cruising on the island.

Bouldin commented, “Royal Caribbean is committed to supporting the market in Ireland, and our valued trade partners, so when Fiona and her team at Fahy Travel extended the invitation to participate in this event I jumped at the opportunity. What better way to demonstrate our commitment than by visiting one of Ireland’s most remote and scenic islands to thank our loyal guests.”

Fiona Flaherty said, “We were delighted to welcome Ben to Inis Mor and not only was it a great opportunity to showcase the fantastic destinations and spectacular ships that Royal Caribbean offer, it also allowed Ben to meet some of his most local customers.  The evening was a great success and Ben also had the chance to experience first hand our Irish hospitality.”

The Irish cruise market is buoyant with an increase of 14% in people choosing this type of holiday last year bringing the total to almost 36,000. Irish customers opt to cruise predominantly in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
