Progressive Building Society, Northern Ireland’s largest locally owned financial institution, has become the only local financial institution to achieve the gold accreditation against the sixth generation Investors in People Standard. The Society joins the top two per cent of accredited organisations across the UK, demonstrating their commitment to high performance through good people management.
Employing 180 people across its 12 branches and Belfast–based head office, Progressive has a strong presence in towns and cities across Northern Ireland and is an integral part of the local economy.
For more than 100 years, Progressive has maintained the values of a traditional building society, providing mortgage and savings products and basing their success on delivering a strong Member focus and an excellent customer service.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends,
