As Northern Ireland’s largest locally owned mortgage provider the advertisements reflect real life stories and situations which many people encounter when buying a home.

Commenting on the new campaign Chief Executive, Darina Armstrong said, “As Northern Ireland’s only locally–owned financial provider, we work hard to meet the needs of all our customers. We wanted our advertisements to reflect that we are helping our customers to achieve their housing and savings goals as well as contributing, in a small way, to building our local society for current and future generations.”

Jessica Hedgley and her partner, Stuart Jackson who both feature in the new campaign, recently purchased their first home and chose Progressive as their mortgage provider. Jessica said, “Our mortgage advisor had the knowledge and insight to make sure that we made appropriate choices to suit our lifestyle. They explained all the jargon putting us at ease from the start, taking us step by step through the whole process.

“It was great fun being involved in the filming of the new ads and we were delighted to see the final ad on TV as well as spotting ourselves on social media. Now that we have settled in our new home, I would recommend anyone who is thinking of taking a mortgage to visit their local Progressive branch and speak to a qualified mortgage advisor.”

Paul Bowen Creative Director at Ardmore, Progressive’s advertising agency, said, ““The expertise and empathy Progressive Building Society employees provide for their customers is what sets them apart from their competitors. The Society recognises each and every product benefits their customers on an emotional level. They understand that people don’t just want a mortgage – they want a home, they understand that people save to help them achieve their dreams and desires. Progressive Building Society sees the bigger picture and that bigger picture is essentially happiness. Progressive Building Society helps to find your happy place.”

The savings advertisement will air later in the year and you can keep up to date on all of the Society’s latest news on Facebook and Twitter
