ROYAL CARIBBEAN ANNOUNCES NEW ‘FISH & SHIPS’ RESTAURANT AS PART OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS’ MULTI–MILLION POUND MAKEOVER

Belfast, 13th November 2017: Royal Caribbean International’s has today announced the launch of all–new eatery ‘Fish & Ships’ as part of an exciting line up of food offerings to feature onboard Independence of the Seas, when she sets sail from Southampton in May 2018.

Positioned next to the new Splashaway Bay water park, ‘Fish & Ships’ will feature a menu of local holidaymakers favourite seaside treats including fresh fried cod with a side of classic chips.

Families onboard Independence will also get to dive into a wondrous world of delights at Sugar Beach Candy & Ice Cream Store. The enchanting sweet shop will sell a delicious range of homemade ice cream and popular sweet treats alongside offering fun family activities for aspirational bakers.

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade will be another new feature to Independence.  Guests can follow sports games from around the world across 30 big–screen TV’s, while enjoying wings, popcorn shrimp, mini–burgers and fries along with ice cold beer on tap.

Friendly competitions in the arcade on Ms. Pacman and Star Wars, among other popular games, are guaranteed top keep the family entertained. The three new food venues join an impressive line up of restaurants already announced as part of Independence of the Seas’ multi–million pound makeover. These include Izumi, Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table, Jonny Rockets, Windjammer and Main Dining Hall.
