The ninth Women in Business Voices of Leadership conference today provided an international stage for purpose-driven leadership conversations as over 400 delegates heard from an esteemed line up of innovative and inspiring speakers.

Discussing the theme of ‘Courageous Leadership’, keynote speakers included Paralympic champion and BAFTA-winning documentary maker Ellie Simmonds, along with First Minister Michelle O’Neill and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly, who explored the principles of courageous leadership and how it can inspire action to create lasting impact.

Hosted by Donna Traynor in Mandela Hall and delivered in partnership with Queen’s University Belfast, the 2025 event welcomed the return of NIE Networks as title sponsor, with Belfast City Council and Staffline also supporting the event. Guests also heard from Marie Doyle (Deloitte UK) Jessica N. Grounds (Corporate Directors Forum), Carol Ann Whitehead (The Zebra Tribe), Professor Deirdre Heenan, Staffline CEO Tina McKenzie MBE and Q Radio presenter Cushla Rice.
