The WiB Group Leads with Legacy at 2026 Chair’s Lunch in Belfast

The WiB Group has announced its first key business event for 2026 with the annual Chair’s Lunch, taking place on Friday, 23 January 2026, at the iconic Titanic Belfast.

Under the theme of ‘Leading with Legacy’ the 2026 Chair’s lunch will bring together over 400 senior leaders, members, partners, and stakeholders from across Northern Ireland’s business community.

The prestigious event provides a valuable forum for business leaders to reflect on progress, share strategic insights, and reinforce The WiB Group’s commitment to advancing an inclusive economy through its four business units: Women in Business, Diversity Mark, Timely Careers and the Centre of Learning.

Hosted at Titanic Belfast, the lunch will feature remarks from outgoing Chair of The WiB Group Nichola Robinson, alongside invited speakers Chris Conway, Dr Theresa Donaldson, Eleanor Hudson and a senior representative from Queen’s University Belfast who will each offer perspectives on leadership, innovation, and the evolving business landscape.

Speaking ahead of the event, Chair of The WiB Group Nichola Robinson said: “The Chair’s Lunch is an important occasion to recognise the achievements of The WiB Group, strengthen strategic relationships, and reaffirm our collective ambition to create a more inclusive and prosperous economy for Northern Ireland.”

The event is also an opportunity for high-level networking among influential decision-makers from the public, private, and third sectors offering a platform for forward-thinking discussions, exchanging of ideas, and opportunities for collaboration.

As headline sponsor Belfast Harbour join a roster of associate sponsors including Queen’s University Belfast, Translink, Glandore and BT.

Looking ahead to the event, Chair of Belfast Harbour Commissioners Dr Theresa Donaldson, added: “Belfast Harbour is delighted to be supporting The WiB Group as the title sponsor for the annual Chair’s Lunch, which will offer the opportunity to create new connections and share fresh ideas centred around this year’s theme of ‘Leading with Legacy’.
