There was a whole world of reasons to love school milk at Whiteabbey Primary School this week as pupils celebrated World School Milk Day.
Pupils raised a glass on Wednesday 30th September to mark the annual event which highlights the nutritional and health benefits of school milk programmes across the globe.
A refreshing carton of milk at breaktime can help quench thirst while providing a natural and nutritious boost to children's daily nutrient intake.
Each 189ml carton of school milk is rich in calcium and protein and provides growing children with iodine, potassium and phosphorus along with vitamins B2 and B12.
